CAVALRY SIGN 3 NEW PLAYERS

LAWTON, OKLA.— Oklahoma Cavalry President/General Manager Otis Birdsong announced today that the team has signed 6-2 Guard Brandon Dean, 6-6 Forward Shawn Daniels, and 6-1 Guard DeAnthony Bowden.

Brandon Dean, out of Univ. of Arkansas in 2002, Shawn Daniels, out of Utah State Univ. in 2001, and DeAnthony Bowden out of Creighton Univ. in 2004, will all suit up for  their first game Jan. 27 at 4:05 p.m. against the Pittsburgh Xplosion. 

Guard Albert Robinson has been placed on the injured reserve list due to a family emergency, and Guard Marc Williams and Center Pierre Darden have been released.  

All 3 players have played in the NBA Development League.   Dean recently played for the Colorado 14ers and spent 2 seasons with the Arkansas Rimrockers, Daniels spent 3 seasons with the Dakota Wizards, and Bowden played a season with the Arkansas Rimrockers and Iowa Energy.
